Update de VEAO con la actualización 2.0.2

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... stcount=33
Hey Guys,
Here's a little video for you of what you'll be getting.

https://youtu.be/4cb7_bgDMis

External engine and cockpit sound test of DCS: Hawk for the upcoming DCS: World OpenAlpha 2.0.2 patch, including EFM.

Raw video recorded straight from the flight, no sound editing.

I threw her about for a couple of flat spins and some low level ground effect flying.

All still work-in-progress of course.

Video is 2560x1080

Edit - Apologies for the black spots, seems like Fraps had a little issue.

Polychop Simulations in cooperation with The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics, are pleased to announce that DCS: SA342 Gazelle is now available for early access in the DCS E-Shop

The SA342 Gazelle is a light scout/attack and transport helicopter. It was introduced in 1968 as a result of cooperation between Aérospatiale and Westland Aircraft. Operated by 23 countries, the Gazelle has served in combat operations across the world including the 1991 Gulf War, 1982 Lebanon War, Syria, and other conflicts.

The Gazelle is powered by a single turbine engine that is connected to three glass-fiber reinforced plastic main rotor blades with a bearingless main rotor developed by Bölkow GmbH. It is also the first helicopter which features the famous Fenestron tail rotor.

The version featured in DCS is the anti-tank version that is armed with four HOT 3 anti-tank guided missiles. Later, free upgrades to this module will feature Gazelle versions armed with a GIAT machine gun, rocket pods, Mistral anti-aircraft missile, and sniper team in rear compartment.

Re: DCS: Updates....

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p ... ost2768477
Hi All,

We'll try to crosspost most of the important posts we make on the forum in this thread- to avoid them being buried in the depths of a thread and information being limited.

On the F4U-1D Corsair
The F4U-1 is on a very temporary development hold as we wait for some new terrain technology to become available in the core engine- as well as focus fully on the AJS-37 until completion.

I'd expect us to announce/show the Pacific project in full before the end of Summer, however- and a release of the Corsair this year.
It's still being very much actively worked on in general, there's just a temporary lull for the Corsair itself.

On the MiG-21 not working in 2.0.2
We're waiting for some engine binaries to be made available so that we can properly debug and fix the 2.0.X issues.

On the radar issues in 1.5.3
Radar bugs in 1.5.3 have been solved and will be available in the next patch.

Re: DCS: Updates....

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... tcount=193
This mean map is a landscape, flora, buildings... things like that. But we have a lot of different WWII units in production (spoiler: AI bombers as well) . So WWII units will not be a part of Normandy or any other map, but will be available for all maps.

Re: DCS: Updates....

Update de Mayo de VEAO

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... ostcount=1
Hey Guys,
Welcome to the May update.

Firstly please let me thank you all for the feedback you have given on the Hawk EFM Patch.
This was a significant patch that is now out in 1.5.3 OpenBeta, 1.5.3 OB Steam and 2.0.2 OpenAlpha.
We are listening to your feedback and reported bugs and are making a list of things to look at.
Right now we have a High, Medium and Low list and the bugs reported are categorised based on priority.

The biggest one we have been working on is the falling out of the sky issue. We have posted a potential fix today for 1.5.3 OB users and have uploaded the files to ED for 1.5.3 and 2.0.2 next patches.

This has obviously been the top priority to get the fix working and out to you.
The remainder of the items highlighted are being looked at in the coming days/weeks so keep an eye on the patch notes during the next updates from ED.

This was a significant patch from the old SFM version that's been out a while with a lot of updated working items. If you think stuff still isn't working quite right or you're not quite sure how/when something is working then please let us know in the Bugs forum section.
Any question is a good question, there are no dumb questions around here.

If you have the time and would like to become a VEAO tester to try things out before they are released then please drop me a line and we can get you on our dedicated testing team which helps to highlight bugs with updated DCS release before they go public.

Next week is a big week for our military side of the business with the ITEC show in London.
And I am proud to announce that we have set up a joint venture company called Porrima Simulations with our partner company Eventuality.
We have been working with the team at Eventuality for a lot of promotional events for Breitling, the RAF and many others.
The Porrima JV has been set up to facilitate this side of the business so if you see our logo around with Porrima you know it's us.

P-40F
With the release of the Hawk EFM patch this meant that some of the team could go back to P-40F which is our next priority to get out to you.
A lot of the features and bug fixes we encountered in Hawk has put us in good stead for the P-40 and future aircraft; things like radios, EFM issues, Etc.
I've read a lot of comments about wasting time on Hawk and to concentrate on P-40; however as I've just said these issues would have come up on P-40 as well so it's good we get them sorted before the module is released.
Right now the team are busy on getting the lower priority items ready like missions, encyclopedia, desktop graphics and the like.

Other Aircraft
Work is ploughing ahead on the Spitfire, Wildcat, Vampire, Meteor and of course Typhoon.
There are all in various stages of development and Pete has been posting some updated pics on our Facebook page so keep an eye out over there and subscribe.
https://www.facebook.com/VEAO-Simulatio ... 376992838/

Towards the end of the month when we're back from ITEC I'll post a more comprehensive update.

Keep an eye out for the patches from ED, post bugs and questions and again thank you from the team for reporting and querying issues.

Chris and the team.

Re: DCS: Updates....

Nueva campaña dle A-10C en NTTR de Baltic Dragon en producción:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=166603
I am happy to announce that I have started work on a new DLC campaign for A-10C. It will be set in the NTTR and will be aimed mainly at new players, containing between 15 - 18 missions with all the basic information and instructions required to master all the systems that would be useful in mostly (but not only) single player flying in the A-10.

Judging by many posts in these forums there is a need for such a campaign, after which one could either test his skills in excellent Basic Flight Training Qualification campaign by MapleFlag or in the Enemy Within or upcoming DLC prepared by Ranger79.

Apart from the instructions and interactive trainings each mission will contain a part in which you will have to put the newly acquired knowledge to use and fulfil different tasks given to you by your Instructor Pilot (IP). Last few missions will simulate a complex battlefield where once again you will have to prove that you know how to effectively use the Hog.

Moreover, the campaign will have its own storyline and will be first in series of linked campaigns sharing the same background (international situation) as well as some of the characters (the next one being Red Flag for M2000C). More details to come!

You can thus expect that what you have seen in The Enemy Within and what you will shortly see in the M2000C campaign, but probably pushed to a new level with improved radio comms quality, many more voiceovers, complex triggers and (hopefully) lots of fun during the training.

I am joining forces with Doughboy from 319th VFW, who served in NTTR and also was deployed with the A-10s in Afghanistan. So you can expect high degree of realism and some interesting stories in all the missions.

Finally, a disclaimer - this campaign does not aim to recreate way of operating the jet in real life to 100%. To get as close to realism as possible you would have to join and learn from one of the great multiplayer squadrons. This campaign will teach you how to effectively use different systems and weapons in DCS environment, of course trying to adhere to procedures used IRL as much as it makes sense for a single player experience.

At this moment it is too early to give any ETA, we shall see how quickly we can progress on this one. If you have any questions - ask them here. More details will be given as
