A preguntas de la comunidad sobre los trenes y su importancia en la invasión de dia D y la segunda guerra mundial, Racoon comenta que actualmente tienen creadas las redes principales de transporte ferroviario en Normandia para WW2. Aun así comenta que actualmente los trenes no son objetos que puedan ser usados por los creadores de misiones, Ellos esperan crear dicha capacidad (para mi la interdición de trenes es esencial en cualquier escenarios de la segunda guerra mundial). Mas de uno ha comentado ya que son imprescindibles para el modulo del P-47 Thunderbolt. Como no, no estaría mal para cualquier mapa ya que el ataque sobre trenes de transporte de tropas y militares en el caucaso abriria un abanico de oportunidades.

I do understand importance of a trains for WWII scenarios. We have all major railroads in the Normandy map now. Big problem is that trains in DCS aren't objects for mission makers. So we should create this feature for sure.
Comenta tambien que tienen en mente dos objetivos sobre los trenes:
- Uno como objeto para las misiones
- Otro como sistema de transporte de recursos entre almacenes y aerodromos.

There are two features actually:
- train as a object for missions;
- train as a transportation unit for warehouse-airfield supply system.
It takes time to make any of them.
No estaría mal que creasen un sistema de convoy via camiones y similar para dar mas capacidad a la logistica

Segun Aviodev el codigo de Radio e intercom es funcional en la cabina delantera y trasera del C-101EB, esperan que haya un update pronto. Esperan poner un post con mas información al respecto y sacar un video mostrando su funcionamiento.

Hi,

I know, communication is not our best asset, and it's something we have been trying to improve, and we will keep trying for sure. Apologies for that.

As our first projects, we were ot free to make mistakes, and bad choies at some points, for example thinking to take two variants of the same version, it would be not so hard to achieve. Then we found those two variants had more diferences than we expect, and also both are two-seaters. That means in terms of code, manage four cockpits, ang brings a massive time invested to implement them in the best way. Just multricrew meant rework and reestructure a big part of the code to make it possible, in talking EB/CC that means do it twice. Add to this, AFM integration with systems and get a proper results.

But when beta was released, we acquire a compromise with the community about the features in the C-101, and we feel we must complete the project with this features even it means lot of extra time invested. It is a very special project for us, and we won't be happy with us if for release something quickly, we have to a lite version of DCS C-101.

This week we implemented Comm UHF and VHF radio + Intercom in front and rear cockpit on EB. It took time to achieve this milestone. We were waiting to make a post with this feature and a video showing how they work now, so there was no news in almost one month as we wanted the whole pack of comms radio ready. This will be available on next update.

I know this post can be understood as excuses, or doesn't help to dissipate some concerns. As some of you could think this looks very bad, but after all this months, and with all the problems, hey we are still alive and ready, as we never had any doubt about this project, and we keep everyday focused and working on the target.

We really want to thank you very much to all these people who still sends their support to us, it really means a lot to us. And for those who has lost their faith on this, we just hope our work and commitment will reverse this.

Mas información de Wags sobre el mapa del Caucaso en 2.5, la resolución de las elevaciones han sido aumentadas a una media de un 400%, por lo que han desaparecido casi todos los bordes afilados de las montañas, se han añadido colinas mas detalladas, crestas y laderas y nuevos sitios en las tierras bajas. Se espera una nueva remesa de imagenes en las proximas semanas. Esta actualización del caucaso seguirá siendo gratuita y se espera su salida a finales del año 2016.

Hola everyone,

A little update... today the Caucasus map for DCS World 2.5 had its terrain elevation resolution increased by an average of 400%. This has eliminated almost all sharp edges to the terrain; and it's added rolling hills, much more detailed ridges and mountain sides, and provided many new places to hide down low.

I'll try to post some images in the coming weeks.

Yes, this is still a FREE upgrade planned for later this year.

The multicrew Gazelle version is on its way and will be released through some coming update.

At the moment the copilot flight controls are still WIP, but you can enjoy everything else.

We are working at getting the copilot flight controls as smooth as the pilot's ones.

EDIT : The controls will have to be re-assigned with this update, sorry for the incovenience.
The best way to do it will be to delete the Saved Games/DCS/Config/Input/SA342 folder and re-assign all commands in game options screen

Konichiwa everyone,

We hear you and understand your wish for more news about the Hornet project. Virtually all the work is in code at this time, but I can say that work continues and the electrical, hydraulic, and gear systems are all almost complete. The next step will be to tie these systems into the cockpit. Other systems have been tied to the cockpit and the HUD symbology integration is on-going. Once that task is complete, we can begin work on the flight model prototype.

The cockpit is done though and includes functionality for JHMCS. What weapon systems will be included in the Early Access is TBD.

As mentioned earlier in the year, it’s our hope to release the Hornet into early access by the end of the year. However, that is only a best estimation at the time and many things can alter this. Only a date announced with the start of a pre-purchase should be taken as a date you can bank on. We are quite accurate with such dates.

When there is more information to pass along on this project, we will do so.
