AS AN ASLEEP CHILD
On November 13, 1941
The Italian Fleet has not obtained his targets and the Allied Forces continue dominating the theater of the Mediterranean. Anyway the things are not clear. Malta resists the Axis bombardments and is a vital point that must be kept at any expense. To supply the island convoys departs from Gibraltar which luck is not insured. On November 11 Operation Perpetual is started by English Navy, to make to come to Malta planes that allow to defend her from the constant attacks. The famous Carrier Ark Royal, the whole symbol for England, sails together with the HMS Argus to throw from his covering 37 Hurricanes that will have to land in the island. Escorted by the Force H, composed by the battleship HMS Malaya, the cruise HMS Hermione and 7 destroyers, manage to carry out successfully his mission, returning immediately the way to Gibraltar. Nevertheless the veteran Carrier in so many actions would not come again to port.
On the 13th, to few miles of his destination, it would be sunk by the submarine VIIC Type U81, commanded by Friederich Guggenberger in the position 36.03N 4.45W., after detecting the propellents of a great allied
force, this One would throws an attack, with few visibility ,against a great target that he unables to identify completely, believing that it was an battleship. Only later he mets the result of his attack. He launchs 4
torpedoes in fan, of which the only one reached the portaviones. Rapidly detected by the numerous escort, he received for three hours the attack of more from 200 depth charges, managing to escape with one of the most
valued booties of the war.
Ark Royal would sink after a stingyness management on part of the British technical personnel who might have saved the ship if they had taken on time the opportune measurements. It was thought that it would be possible
to tow it up to Gibraltar, since they were almost in view of the craggy rock. But with the already present tugs, 12 hours after torpedo attack, when recovered the pressure in the boilers and to return him his normal
level, a fire would begin in the machine room.As the pipes that were joining the box of smokes with the chimney were full of water, the flames proceeding from the boilers were not gone out. The fire rendered useless the water bombs and the titan began to list and sinking. ' As an asleep child ' an ocular witness of the disaster described.
Players DD: 1 Destroyer P Type

TIME COMPRESSION USE
There is recommended a time compression of 2x 4x during approximately realtime 15 minutes. The use of the biggest compressions can alter the development of the game.
The subs must lower the compression to 1x after obtaining visual contact or having sound contact at distances lower than 6000 m and always 5 minutes before beginning an attack.
The Dd must lower the compression to 1x after obtaining visual contact, sonar contact or contacts at least of 6000 yards and before always beginning an attack.

SAFE CONVOY
It is considered to be a sure convoy if Carrier reaches the point placed close to Gibraltar.
ALLOCATION OF SUBSIDENCE
If a ship touched by a torpedo sinks for clashing with another ship of surface, his subsidence will be assigned to the submarine that touched to the above mentioned merchant ship.
Only he is considered " friendly fire " to the subsidence for collision of ships that they have not beenreached previously by torpedoes.
