Re: DCS: Updates....

VEAO "confirma" que se está trabajando en una versión militar del EFA (Seguramente para la RAF), pero que devido a las restricciones, la versión "comercial" estará degradada.

Guys,
As much as we would like to have fully functional military standards aircraft for the community, this simply isn't possible due to a lot of reasons, sensitivity being the main one.

We will "simulate" certain functions of the aircraft to give you the feeling of flying a Typhoon. These may be way off what the actual aircraft can deliver or how it functions from an avionics suite point of view, as has been said many times before.

Probably there are only a handful of people, Eddie being one of them, that will know that the real aircraft doesn't function the way our consumer version one will.

Even the EFM (PFM) we will develop for the consumer version will not be as realistic as the real aircraft due to sensitivity again but you know what, I doubt anyone on the forum has actually flown a Typhoon so you won't know anyway

It will look and feel and handle like a Typhoon so don't worry.

Yes we will simulate weapons that may not be in service yet and certain weapons we simply won't be able to do as per certain aircraft functions.

Eddie, on our last research trip and subsequent conversations since, we were told differently. Let's just leave it at that. Pete wasn't questioning what you do or where you are and I think it's best of we drop this subject due to sensitivity again. Let's catch up for a beer next time we're at Conny and we can discuss it there

Cheers,
Chris.

Noticia importante sobre WW2
http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... ostcount=1
June 2014 Update

We would first like to apologize for the long delay in projects updates. Since the last update from Luthier, there have been some significant changes in how this project will be developed and managed. No longer will RRG be developing this project and Luthier has ceased his involvement in the project. Eagle Dynamics though will be continuing its development and honor all Kickstarter backer commitments. There is nothing more we can say about this change and it is not open for discussion.

We will be restructuring the DCS WWII: Europe 1944 forums to reflect this.

DCS WWII: Europe 1944 is still planned as a single-package option, or users can purchase individual components to integrate into DCS World.

Myself and Groove plan to provide monthly updates.

As a basic outline, here are our current development intentions:

August 2014 – Fw 190 D-9 Dora
October 2014 - BF-109K
December 2014- Spitfire IX
March 2015 - P-47D-28
May 2015 - Normandy Map with period AI units
Other features like the Me.262A-1 and AI-only B-17G are also in development we but do not have a delivery data estimate at this time until these other features are further along.

In the meantime, Groove and our moderator SiThSpAwN are working to make sure that all backers, based on their level of backing, receive their entitlements.

We fully realize that you probably have many unanswered questions. We are in the process of answering those internally first, and once we do, we will update you.

In this update, we can share some updated images of the Fw 190 D-9 and Bf-109K cockpits. In future updates, Yoyo and other members of the development team will provide greater details about the various features.

Thanks,
Matt

Re: DCS: Updates....

Para los que useis Steam, importante noticia, Valve no se hace responsable a partir de ahora de los numeros de serie comprados del exterior:
http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p ... ost2085202
7 June 2014

Dear all,

We learned from Valve/Steam that they will be unable to continue merging DCS keys purchased outside of the Steam Store. As such and as of today, please note that any keys purchased outside of the Steam Store can no longer be used to activate DCS products on Steam.

We will be working with Steam to merge all keys purchased prior to today. We can make no promises as to when or if this will happen though… that is out of our hands.

Please note though that keys purchased on the Steam store will work on DCS World downloaded from the DCS Store.

Thanks

Presentación oficial del C-101 Aviojet de Aviodev en los foros de Eagle Dynamics
http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... ostcount=1
Imagen

Dear Everyone,

We are excited to announce to the community our first project, the CASA C-101 "Aviojet".

The CASA C-101 Aviojet is an advanced jet trainer and light attack aircraft, entering service with the Spanish AF in 1980.The C-101 was also operated by the Air Forces of Chile, Jordan and Honduras. Through many years of service, the Aviojet has proved itself as a reliable aircraft, being an excellent platform for training and aerobatic flight, and is used by the premier aerobatic team of the Spanish Air Force, the Patrulla Águila.

The team behind the C-101 for DCS World is AvioDev, who are located in Spain and the UK. The team is comprised of 4 members:

Peyvolt : Modeller
Tango : Systems developer
JO : Textures
Alezmad : Technical Advisor

Also you can follow us in our facebook page:

https://www.facebook.com/Aviodev

Development on the C-101 was a painstaking task, in order that the models, textures, and systems accurately matched the real aircraft. Thanks to working directly with pilots and technicians of the real aircraft, we are able to bring you an exceptional simulation. At the current time, the aircraft has been developed with SFM and full clickable cockpit, but AFM is planned, and we are currently looking for an AFM devolper to create the flight model for our C-101 project, and possible future projects. If you would be interested in this position, please contact us via PM.

Our C101 project teaser: Recommended to watch it in 1080.

Re: DCS: Updates....

Fw-190D-9 Precompra disponible:

http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p ... ost2101312
The Fighter Collection and Eagle Dynamics are happy to announce that DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora is now available for pre purchase from the DCS Store at: https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/

The Focke-Wulf Fw 190 is widely regarded as Germany's best fighter aircraft of World War II. Its appearance in the skies over France in August 1941 was a rude shock to the Allies, as it was clearly superior to any other plane. For nearly a year, the Fw 190 was the unmatched champion of the air war in Europe. The Fw 190 had speed and high altitude performance as its two great assets.

The development of advanced allied fighters resulted in the Fw 190 D–9 variant which first saw service in September 1944. This variant had a larger nose that housed a more powerful Junkers Jumo engine that produced 2,100 hp with the MW-50 boost system. The D-9 was designed for high altitude aerial combat and is a worthy adversary to the P-51D Mustang.

http://youtu.be/_x1gi6vyn8g

Key Features of the DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora:

• Unmatched flight physics that allow you to truly feel what it's like to fly this legend.

• Highly detailed, six-degrees-of-freedom (6 DOF) cockpit.

• Interact with cockpit controls with your mouse.

• Accurate Fw 190 D-9 model, squadron markings, and weapons.

• Detailed modelling the Fw 190 D-9 instruments, weapons, engine, radios, fuel, and electrical systems.

• Battle the P-51D Mustang in single and multiplayer games.

DCS: Fw 190 D-9 Dora will sell for $49.99 at August 5. Pre Purchase now for $39.99 and save 20%!

Pat implementa el mapa movil en el Sa-342 Gazelle

http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=2 ... tcount=328
Hello gents,
The cockpit and the external model are completely being re-textured at the moment (still WIP), but no view at the moment.
If you appreciate the BO-105 cockpit, you will appreciate the gazelle cockpit too, thanks Oliver.
A lot of things have been improved or changed, among them, rotor blades animations have been re-made with bones (for the technicians), rotor head animations are now like the real helicopter, a moving map has been added to the "copilot" position.
This vid was made at the first step of the moving map coding
