The Harpoon Admiralty and supporting Senior Staff are exploring all options for creating "The Next Harpoon" (TNH). The constraints are of course, people, time and money. While there has been some interest from commercial publishers in the game, we will depend on an in-house development effort for the near term.
TNH will combine the best features of the entire Harpoon family, as well as
adding new capabilities. TNH will be a faithful computer implementation of
the print Harpoon 4 rules set.
The Harpoon community will continue to be a vital part of this effort at all
levels. The community will be invited to bolster the efforts of the paid,
professional team. Selected members of the community will be invited to
work more closely with the development team based on their skills,
knowledge, and attitude.

O sea, resumiendo, que parece que lo van a hacer como dios manda y van a trasladar al PC las reglas del Harpoon 4 de tablero que ya existe desde hace algún tiempo. Para ello van a solicitar la ayuda de los representantes más destacados de la Comunidad Harpoon para que ayuden al equipo de desarrollo.
Creo que para todos aquellos fans del Harpoon esta es la noticia del año, llevan más tiempo esperando el Harpoon 4 que nosotros el SH3
